1. Why are you doing a blog?
- I like the idea of having my own space to keep thoughts and rants. It is a kind of catharsis, getting all the emotion out somewhere so that it doesn’t boil inside my head eventually leading to a coronary or brain tumor on a particularly stressful Monday morning. It is also somewhere to keep my thoughts in line, and to remind me where I am and what I am doing.
- Thwart hungry ants. (From PGK, I still find it funny, after seven years….although it is not your duty to put stuff on the web…)
2. Do you have anything to talk about that is worth reading?
- Hmm…probably not, but you never know what people find interesting or what little piece of information might help people sleep better at night. For example I had a couple of friends at my house yesterday trying to find out when the oldest multi-storey car park was built in the Netherlands. Apparently, the oldest multi-storey car park in the Netherlands is Torrenstraat Car Park in Den Haag, however, they could not find the date that it was built. I am sure they lost sleep over it last night, whereas I caught up on my sleep during their search!
3. What about work, are you allowed to blog and have a job?
- An interesting question. This is a personal blog. The opinion (and thoughts) within this entire site (beingprimitive.com) are my own and not those of my employer (past and present) , I am not responsible for content outside this site that I link to, such as this or this. I do approve comments that are made on this site.
4. Didn’t someone get fired for having a blog?
- Indeed, she now makes a living from the advertising on her site…
5. Shouldn’t you like, get a life?
- Perhaps, but I like sheltered dark corners to read and am too opinionated to keep quiet. This is my outlet, suck it up.
