Well after a couple of recent comments it appears that the Borg are taking over (when I say the Borg I mean Firefox). Coming to think of it, whatever happened to the Borg anyway? I always looked forward to the time that the Borg would assimilate me (believe me there would be no resistance), so that I didn’t have to learn so much. I could just know everything and know what everyone was doing. Hey, I wonder if that will be web 5.0 or so…anyway, I digress…
So Firefox hit the mark on Tuesday, although Guinness hasn’t verified it yet, but apparently there were 8.3 million downloads in the 24 hours of downloading craziness. Man, what the Borg Queen would do for 8.3 million new recruits. So if you were one of the 8.3 million nerds you can pop along to Mozilla and get a certifiacte that has you name on it, print it out and your mom will put it on the fridge for you!

I still haven’t upgrade my FF…afraid that it’s still unstable…
It’s a fair call, but like most software upgrades there are always going to be one or two problems to iron out…for instance see here http://www.informationweek.com/news/internet/browsers/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=208700715&subSection=All+Stories
