Okay, so according to my wife I just have man flu.

In fact I have had a cold that has kept me off work for a few days and wrapped up in the house with a (suspected) mental case that is trying to write up a PhD.  Now believe me, I know how nutty you can become when writing up a PhD.  It is not a pretty sight.  So believe me, I was ill.  I would not through choice stay at home with someone that has mood swings that make the Incredible Hulk look like he had a slight personality disorder, when I could have made it to work to stay out of the way.

This has also caused me to basically grind to a halt, hence lack of updates on the blog, on project AJD and even on the CDTC site.  And yes, even twitter!  Yes, I was feeling so bleugh, that I couldn’t even text to my twitter site.  Talking of texting it is almost near the two week mark having the Nokia N95 8GB.  I’ll do an update on how I am doing with it on Saturday or Sunday…I am sure you are all waiting with baited breath on how it is coping with my technological demands.

Not much else has been happening.  I have, for some strange reason, started to watch the first series of 24 again.  I have just passed three in the afternoon where a van blows up and Jack is not arrested yet again even though he has no discernible respect for anyone in authority (go Jack!).  Oh, and I am watching the Holmes on Homes DVD’s that got sent from Canada for me (thanks Tracey!).  If you haven’t seen this program you should.  It is fantastic, assuming that you like watching buildings being ripped apart and put back together properly by someone who knows what he is doing.  “DO IT RIGHT, THE FIRST TIME.  THIS IS CODE, BUT I LIKE TO DO MORE THAN CODE!“  He shouts a lot, and is like a car mechanic, there is a lot of whistling through teeth and tutting… Check out some of the videos on his website, it gives a good overview of the kinda guy he is, very straight, honest and women seem to love him!
