Ok, so this post is a touch late and there is much more exciting news than Jenga happening today!
HD-DVD is dead. Really hope you didn’t buy one as it looks like they are the Betamax of high definition. Reports came from a few places this morning. It has been coming though with major studios pulling the format in favour of Blu-Ray and now reports are coming out from Reuters that Toshiba is planning to stop production of equipment compatible with HD-DVD. This week in Tech (twit) also had a long running discussion about it on their podcast this morning/last night depending on where you are in the world.
So I guess the next choice is what Blur-Ray Player…
