There are some days when it just rains. It’s cloudy, and a bit cold today. This kind of day typifies one of the reasons that I left the midlands of England after it being my home for five years. Home is a bit strong. It was more like a place that I stayed for a few years. Rain wasn’t so much a weather type in the midlands, it was a season. In fact it was usually two seasons.
When I first visited the midlands it was beautiful. It was cold (it was March) but very sunny. The area that I looked around was really nice and people seemed genuinely happy. When I revisited later in the year it was warm and sunny. It was a nice warm, not a stuffy uncomfortable make you feel sick heatwave. I was really looking forward to moving there in September.
The day I arrived in the midlands it was a bit overcast. The day after it started to rain. It stopped again in March.
The weather today suits my mood. I saw Gone Baby Gone last night, in summary, it was pretty brutal but totally absorbing. It was so nearly terrible, but always managed to twist the plot so that it made sense and flowed. I have to admit that I did not imagine the outcome at any point during the film. It was good, but as I said pretty brutal. The movie has been out for some time on the American side of the water but has been postponed in Europe due to a missing child from England.

It’s sunny now
Waster. Stop complaining.
